But I have never reviewed an application that can help you manage a collection of movies, books, coins, stamps, postcards, and more. You see, thanks to Numento you can manage all sorts of collections – and that makes this software a must-have for any collector.

Numento is available for Microsoft’s Windows operating system.
Numento is also available for Apple’s Mac OS X.

To get Numento up and running on your Windows PC you will have to go through a standard installation process: download an installer -> run the installer -> follow the instructions presented onscreen by a setup wizard. Once the installation process completes and you launch Numento, you will be invited to create a new collection.

The nice thing is that lots of collection types are available: multimedia, books, CDs, videos, comic books, vinyls, coins, stamps, wine, postcards, capsules, phone cards, promotional items, toys & games, product labels, perfumes. If these collection types are not enough, you can also define a new collection.

The panel in the upper right hand side displays all the items in your collection as a coverflow or as thumbnails.
The panel in the lower right hand side displays all the items in your collection as thumbnails or as a list.
The panel on the left hand side displays buttons that you can use to easily navigate your collection.

The functionality Numento has to offer will put a smile on any collector’s face: create a variety of collections; easily add items to the collection and insert lots of details for each item; import and export data; manage loans, manage a wishlist; view statistics.

The trial version of Numento is limited to 4 collections and 25 items per collection. A prompt will show up every time you launch the trial version and invite you to get a Numento license.

No matter what you like to collect, Numento will help you catalog everything in your collection and efficiently manage all your collections.
